~Kekasih Gelapnya~

I had quite a long chit chat with my cousin last night. We went out to eat at one Thai Warung nearby our house. She asked me, “Eh tak de gossip br ka?” I said, “No la, skrang tak da mase bergossip, next week boleh kot wakakaka” (This week kan busy with FYP)

I ordered sup sayur with telur bungkus, and not Syrup Bandung now, ehehehe its Mango Juice! My cousin said, “wah sudah pandai tukar menu!”

We just eat and talk about lots of thing, nothing’s interesting in particular until she brought up one story. It’s about her office mate (a guy) who just got married last weekend. Well, my cousin used to mention that she was close with that guy until she knew that he already has a fiancée. Then, they stopped seeing each other.

It was pretty interesting plot here when the guy said he doesn’t love his fiancée, he loves my cousin. It’s all because of his mother who wants the girl to be his wife! Hemm, it’s hard to believe in this modern era, some mothers would stand to see their sons suffering internally and marry someone of their choice. The night before the guy’s solemnization ceremony, he called my cousin. They had a long conversation, but everything will be ended as soon as the sun arises next morning! They guy kept saying he loves my cousin so much, he doesn’t know what else to do. My cousin was a bit practical here when she replied, “Even if I love u with all my heart, nothing’s change! You’ll be someone’s husband tomorrow!” They guy started to cry when he listened that. My cousin added ‘I will continue with my life, I won’t think of you anymore, I have my boyfriend!!!” 

I was a bit confused here, then I asked “You have your boyfriend, with 8 years of relationship already, why do you still flirt with this guy?” My question and the word flirt were very straightforward haha

My cousin explained “Zara, even after 10 years of relationship, you’ll be surprised when you started thinking that he’s not the ‘one’! It’s not easy to maintain 8 years of relationship, for me I know my boyfriend more and more each day. There’ll be lots of thing that make us unhappy.”

“So, that’s why you chose to be with this guy,” I said. “Yes, I thought he’s the one. That was my instinct at first! However, of all that happened, I realized my boyfriend has done so much for me that this guy will never ever do just for the sake of satisfying his mother. He’s heroic only in saying that he loves me, but he’s a coward in his deeds to win my love. So, he’s not worth it!!! ”
